“Yoga embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being.”
~ Shri. Narendra Modi (Prime Minister of India)

Happy Summer Solstice and Happy International Yoga Day to you!

The UN declared June 21st (same day as Summer Solstice) as International Yoga day, supported by 170 nations.
Everywhere around the world yogis are getting together to celebrate the blessing of yoga and what better day to do this than on Summer Solstice.

“Summertime is always the best of what might be.”
~ Charles Bowden

Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year and will hopefully, even in Mendocino, bless us with abundant hours of sunshine and warmth. As the new summer season rolls in, we welcome the longest period of daylight.  As with every change of the seasons, it’s a time for new beginnings as well as a time to fully embrace and celebrate where we are in life.

Let’s get together, dearest Yogis and Yoginis to celebrate the magic of yoga and the beginning of summer!

Join me on

Monday, June 22nd, at 9.00 a.m.

for a yoga practice
to give gratitude to the invention of yoga
and to welcome the new season of summer.

Please email me (Tanja@MendocinoHealing.com) to reserve your spot.
I look forward to seeing you soon!

Have a very happy Day of Yoga and a great beginning of Summer!

“And so with the sunshine
and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees,
just as things grow in fast movies,
I had that familiar conviction
that life was beginning over again with the summer.”
~ F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby
