“Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.”
~ Rumi
Are you ready to take the first step towards the life of your dreams?
Are you willing to take charge of your life, and start living a passionate, fulfilled and happy life?
It takes great courage to even take the first step at times, walking into the unknown, letting go of negative restrictions, attachments and habits, breaking out of our own comfort zone, possibly receiving disapproval from others as we are changing…
Change can be so scary that it sometimes seems easier to stay in a situation that is uncomfortable, unhappy and unfulfilling but hopefully not dangerous. As we are hanging in there we get a sense of comfort by convincing ourselves that there is no true happiness and that it only exists in movies, novels and fairytales. The truth is that we can find true happiness, fulfillment, love and abundance if we start to listen and connect with our dreams again. We all have an inner voice that speaks to us, a heart that gently guides us, and a knowingness that protects us. And there are many ways to get in touch with those subtle forces, once we are ready.
A great way to start this process is to get in alignment with our inner guidance, become aware of our needs and consider what part in our life requires change. Once we are ready to become aware of our dreams and passions, it is worth noticing any emotions that arise when we visualize our dreams coming true. If you are feeling emotions of joy, excitement and anticipation I would encourage you to go ahead and take the first step towards the live of your dreams because the “cost of not following your heart, is spending the rest of your life wishing you had”.
For me it meant going through a phase in my life where there was great uncertainty and sometimes I felt I was strapped to a roller coaster, and believe me I don’t like being on them. I never knew when the next turn came or when it was going up or suddenly down again or when I would ever reach the point where the ride would be over and I would be on firm ground again. Fortunately I had many wonderful people in my life, guiding, helping and supporting me along the way. All I could do at times was just to hold on tight, close my eyes and trust that everything would be alright.
“Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.”
I am so grateful for the divine and earthly guidance, help and support I have been receiving. Today I look back and am so thankful that my heart has been continuing to whisper to me and to guide me toward the life of my dreams.
You may only change a small thing in your life, like taking the dancing classes that you always wanted to sign up for, and as you start dancing you feel the inner joy and happiness rising. Small changes can have a big impact on our life and others.
May you find your true happiness and start living the life of your dreams, because you deserve it!
